Abstract From the Canadian patent

An apparatus (10A) for removing standing water from the hydraulic plumbing system that circulates water in a whirlpool bath. The apparatus includes a pneumatic pump (50A) fluidly coupled to the whirlpool hydraulic plumbing system of a whirlpool bathtub (20A), such that air pressure from the pneumatic pump can be used to flush standing water out of the hydraulic plumbing system after each use. Why it's free to use

  • Filed May 3, 2002. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 3, 2022.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 3, 2024.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
