Abstract From the Canadian patent

Disclosed is a sintering powder for selective laser sintering, which comprises polyamide and titanium dioxide particles. The molding formed by using the powder of the invention has marked advantages over conventional products in terms of their appearance arid surface quality stemming from yellowing resistance when exposed to thermal stress during laser sintering. The molding also has mechanical properties, in particular modulus of elasticity markedly improved over conventional molding powders.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed October 15, 2003. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended October 15, 2023.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 15, 2025.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
