Abstract From the Canadian patent
A glove includes a body having a palm sleeve with a hand entry end an opposed end, a back of hand face and a palm face. A thumb sleeve is secured to the palm sleeve. A plurality of tubular ammunition sleeves are secured in parallel spaced relation to the back of the hand face of the palm sleeve. Each ammunition sleeve has a first end and a second end. Each ammunition sleeve is adapted to receive a single shell cartridge with a base of the shell cartridge oriented toward the first end of the ammunition sleeve. When ammunition is carried in the ammunition sleeves of the glove described above it is much safer than carrying a loaded gun while crossing rugged terrain.

Why it's free to use
- Filed October 6, 2003 and granted August 16, 2011. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended October 6, 2023.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 6, 2025.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
