An integrated air separation and power generation process produces an O2enriched gas stream (28) and an N2-enriched gas stream (36) in an air separation unit (22). The O2-enriched gas stream (28) is introduced with fuel and steam to a combustor (12), producing flue gas. At least a portion of the flue gas and steam (18) exiting the combustor (2) is used to generate power (32). The N2-enriched gas steam (36) is heated and power (42) is generated from the heated N2-enriched gas steam.

Why it's free to use
- Filed March 6, 2002. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 6, 2022.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 6, 2024.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
