The invention relates to a method for the georeferenced measuring of electrical resistivity for the electrical mapping of soil. The area of soil to be mapped is divided up into a fine network of points. According to the invention measuring means are used to obtain n parameters (n being at least equal to 3) characterising the electrical resistivity at a given point at n different depths. In addition an absolute position measurement and k relative displacement measurements are obtained using positioning means for a number k of points measured. The three measurements obtained are subsequently sent to a microcontroller which synchronises the acquisitions. The data sent by the microcontroller …

Why it's free to use
- Filed February 6, 2002. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended February 6, 2022.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by February 6, 2024.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
