A digital video camera capable of producing video at higher frame rates than that allowed, by currently available digital cameras. The digital camera comprises a single imager that, produces both high- and low-resolution frames simultaneously at the maximum rate allowed, by sensor physics at low-resolution. Image processing electronics process the output of the, imager to evaluate motion of pixels from one low-resolution frame to the next reduce the, motion blur level in the high-resolution frames and move the pixels of the deblurred high-, resolution frames according to the motion observed in the low-resolution frames.

Why it's free to use
- Filed July 24, 2003. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 24, 2023.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 24, 2025.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
