Abstract From the Canadian patent

Transition metal complexes with chino7,8-hchinolines and cyclopentadieno1,2h: 4,3-h'dichinolines as proton sponge ligands and method for the production thereof. Said complexes are suitable as catalysts e.g. palladium complexes for a Heck reaction and for amination and C-H activation reactions. The platinum and palladium complexes are potentially good cytostatics.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed January 19, 2002. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended January 19, 2022.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by January 19, 2024.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
