The invention relates to N-alkylglycine trimeres (I) wherein R1 represents 2-, (2,4-dichlorophenyl)ethyl 3-methyl-butyl, 2-(methylcarbonylamino)ethyl 2-(N-, imidazolyl)ethyl or 3-(N,N-dimethylamino)propyl; R2 represents 2-(2,4dichlorophenyl)ethyl, 2-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl 3,3-diphenylpropyl or 3-(N,N-, diethylamino)propyl and R3 represents N,N-diethyl-aminopropyl 3,3-diphenyl-, propyl or 2-2-(N-methyl)pyrrolidinylethyl. Said trimeres are capable of blocking the ionic channels that are activated by exogenous chemical substances, heat stimuli or inflammation mediators such as nociceptors VR1 and glutamate ionotropic receptors and are useful for treating disorders mediated by the activity …

Why it's free to use
- Filed October 11, 2001. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended October 11, 2021.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 11, 2023.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
