Abstract From the Canadian patent

A method and apparatus for in-situ spectroscopic analysis of a flowable material comprising a flow cell having a flow passage and means for introducing the flowable material into the flow passage first probe means for , transmitting a given wavelength of light into the flow passage second probe , means for detecting the emission light from the flowable material and control , means for providing the light to the first probe means and analyzing the emission light detected by the second probe means. The first and second probe means include optic means that project into a region of reasonable flow in the flow passage. The first and second probe means also have a path length in the range …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed April 26, 2001. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended April 26, 2021.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by April 26, 2023.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
