Methods are provided for determining the relative amounts of individual polynucleotides in a complex mixture. The polynucleotides after fluorescent , labeling, are contacted under hybridization conditions with an array having element disposed at discrete locations on a substrate. The elements comprise two or more distinct polynucleotides that are combined prior to arraying. The level of fluorescence associated with each element provides a measure of its relative amount in the mixture.

Why it's free to use
- Filed March 20, 2001. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 20, 2021.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 20, 2023.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
