Abstract From the Canadian patent

Antimitotic terpenoid compounds including sarcodictyin A and diterpenes such as eleutherobin may be obtained from organisms of the order Gorgonacea. Methods of obtaining or preparing such compounds are provided as are novel , antimitotic diterpene compounds having formula (I).
