Abstract From the Canadian patent

A method in which a group of financial institutions and member businesses cooperate to establish a trading network in which member sellers accrue derivatives equal to the value of sales of goods or services to member buyers, and then use the derivatives to purchase items from other members of the network. Why it's free to use

  • Filed July 17, 2002. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 17, 2022.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 17, 2024.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
