A cDNA encoding geranyl diphosphate synthase large subunit from peppermint has been isolated and sequenced, and the corresponding amino acid sequence has been determined. Replicable recombinant cloning vehicles are provided which code for geranyl disphosphate synthase large subunit. In another aspect modified host cells are provided that have been transformed transfected, infected and/or injected with a recombinant cloning vehicle and/or DNA sequence encoding geranyl diphosphate synthase protein comprising an isolated recombinant geranyl diphosphate synthaxe large subunit. In yet another aspect the present invention provides isolated recombinant geranyl diphosphate , synthase large …

Why it's free to use
- Filed October 16, 2000. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended October 16, 2020.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 16, 2022.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
