Survey of accesses over the Internet is relatively readily conducted by the information providing system. When an HTTP server (203) sends predetermined image data, an identification information adding device (205) creates identification information corresponding to an access from a terminal (30) and adds it to the predetermined image data. The correspondence relationship between the identification information and the image data to which identification information is added is recorded in a database (206).

Why it's free to use
- Filed October 20, 2000. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended October 20, 2020.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 20, 2022.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
