The platform is comprised of a plurality of subsystems each of which inferfaces to a fungible specific plugin. The subsystems include an order management subsystem which performs quote distribution and matching, a deal execution subsystem which confirms and records deals, a market view subsystem which provides market views to traders and a credit subsystem which manages credit utilisation. Each subsystem can communicate with an appropriate plug-in which defines rules for a given fungible.

Why it's free to use
- Filed June 21, 2001. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended June 21, 2021.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 21, 2023.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
