A calendar comprises a plurality of pages (1) and a plurality of calendar areas (2), each of which identifies a unique time period and is adapted to receive handwritten entries for that time period. The calendar areas are provided with a code (9) which makes it possible to create an electronic backup of a handwritten entry which is made in the calendar area. An arrangement for electronic storage of the entry which is made in the physical calendar is adapted to record the handwritten entry electronically and to determine the unique time period with which the entry is associated so that the entry can be stored in the correct position in a digital calendar.

Why it's free to use
- Filed April 5, 2000. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended April 5, 2020.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by April 5, 2022.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
