Abstract From the Canadian patent

A method wherein a radiolabelled compound is localized at a thrombus. Twodimensional images, representing a physical property associated with the radiolabelled thrombus, are acquired and assembled into a three-dimensional matrix of data. The three-dimensional matrix of data is then scanned along an array of parallel lines to determine a maximum value along each line. The maximum value along each line is then assigned to a pixel in a two-dimensional array, where the relative position of the pixel in the two-dimensional array corresponds to the relative position of the line in the array of parallel lines.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed March 24, 2000. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 24, 2020.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 24, 2022.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
