A modular actuator assembly includes one or more plates or elements of electroactive material bonded to an electroded sheet preferably by a structural , polymer to form a card. The card is sealed and may itself constitute a , practical device such as a vane, shaker, stirrer, lever pusher or sonicator , for direct contact with a solid or immersion in a fluid or may be bonded by a , stiff adhesive to make a surface-to-surface mechanical coupling with a solid workpiece, device, substrate machine or sample. Why it's free to use

  • Filed February 25, 2000. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended February 25, 2020.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by February 25, 2022.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
