Abstract From the Canadian patent

A mechanical feedback control device for a redundant hydraulic actuator having two hydraulic cylinders operated by respective hydraulic valves and interposed between a fixed connection and a movable connection of the actuator; the device having an input lever connected to two feedback rods connected to the movable connection of the actuator, and a transmission lever which when, moved by the input lever, rotates a pin to activate two shafts controlling respective slides of the valves. The input lever, the transmission lever and the pin form a closed-loop structure for transmitting displacement to each of the shafts, so that each of the slides can be moved via two different kinematic chains.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed November 28, 2001. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 28, 2021.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 28, 2023.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
