The following is a quick description of our idea for the Paper Cup Clipper . The Paper Cup, Clipper is a device that will cut the rim of a paper cup so you can roll up the rim of the cup to, reveal a prize offered in promotion or contest . The idea is to make it easier for people to see if they have won a prize . This product would be, aimed at people who have difficulties rolling up the rim because of weak fingers due to age or, medical reasons . By simply cutting the rim in two places a short distance apart less force would, be needed to unfold the rim to reveal the prize . I hope this explains the nature of this product a little better .

Why it's free to use
- Filed July 30, 2001. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 30, 2021.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 30, 2023.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
