A method for stereochemically coding a molecule by taking in the steric structure around each atom constituting a molecule wherein atoms are , classified into a group of classes angle symbols are derived from the atom of the (n+3)-th class, the atom of the (n+2)-th class the atom of the (n+1)-th , class, and the atom of the n-th class. A symbol is given to the (n+3)-th atom being now considered, and a code concerning stereochemistry that represents the conformation and configuration of a molecule with respect to the start atom on the basis of the (n+3)-th atom. The method can be applied to for , example, chemical shift prediction of NMR. By the method a molecule can be , coded …

Why it's free to use
- Filed October 3, 2000. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended October 3, 2020.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 3, 2022.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
