The invention relates to a method for shaping materials with plasma-inducing high-energy radiation, especially laser radiation. According to said method the momentary intensity of the plasma radiation is measured in several places on a steam capillary. In order to be able to carry out the method for lower workpiece thicknesses with good welding results the shapes of two maximum , intensity regions (10 12) located at a distance from each other or of , another electromagnetic beam emitted from the steam capillary and the shape , of a minimum region (11) that can be formed between these two regions with extreme values are determined using a measuring technique the so determined , shapes of …

Why it's free to use
- Filed March 13, 1999. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 13, 2019.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 13, 2021.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
