Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention relates to a device (1) for recombining hydrogen and oxygen in a gaseous mixture, especially for a nuclear plant. The gaseous mixture can be fed to a heating chamber (30) through a feed duct (4) into which a conveyor blower (6) is connected. The aim of the invention is to provide a particularly simple means of reliably reducing the hydrogen present in the gaseous mixture even in different operating states. To this end a control unit (80) , associated with the conveyor blower (6) is provided to adjust the conveying capacity of the conveyor blower in accordance with the hydrogen content of the gaseous mixture.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed September 29, 1999. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended September 29, 2019.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by September 29, 2021.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
