A marine gas storage and transport system formed of small diameter steel pipe which is, coiled and stacked in a specific manner. The system is suitable for use on top of a barge, or inside the holds of a ship when contained within a secondary containment system. Various ways of stacking and coiling coiled pipe are disclosed. Specific materials for, making the pipe are also disclosed.
