A compact disk receiving device includes a cover (20) pivotably connected to a base (50) with a support plate (50) located therebetween. A shaft (40) is rotatably engaged between two first lugs (23) extending from a side of the cover. The shaft has a first hook member (42) and the support plate has a second hook member (52) which is engageable with the first hook member so that the support plate is able to be slid between the cover and the base. An opposite side of the side having the first hook member is an open side (44) so that two shafts can be piled up by inserting the first hook member of one shaft into the open side of the other shaft.

Why it's free to use
- Filed March 13, 2001 and granted October 21, 2003. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended March 13, 2021.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 13, 2023.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
