Abstract From the Canadian patent

A packaging system for non-rigid materials includes various embodiments. In another embodiment, pairs of blocks (10) are partially wrapped with a liner (30) and separated from each other by a distance which permits additional blocks (10A) to be inserted in an alternating manner in the spacing in between the blocks (10). Why it's free to use

  • Filed June 4, 1999. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended June 4, 2019.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 4, 2021.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
