Thermoplastic elastomer compositions having improved processability while maintaining good physical properties are prepared from a mixture of olefinic rubber and a polypropylene composition having a melt flow rate in the range of from about 0.5 to about 5 dg/min. and a molecular weight distribution Mw/Mn of greater than 5.5 up to about 20. The rubber component of the mixture may be at least partially cured by dynamic vulcanization.

Why it's free to use
- Filed May 13, 1999. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 13, 2019.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 13, 2021.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
