Abstract From the Canadian patent

The present invention relates to shape-formed three dimensional, moisture , vapour permeable liquid impermeable articles comprising moisture vapour permeable, liquid impermeable structures comprising a thermoplastic composition having a higher processability. The thermoplastic compositions comprise preferred thermoplastic polymers and suitable plasticisers to adjust the viscosity of the composition at the process conditions. The shape-formed three dimensional articles of the present invention can find a variety of applications wherein moisture vapour permeability combined with liquid imperviousness are desirable.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed June 9, 1999. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended June 9, 2019.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 9, 2021.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
