A valve (10) includes an elastic valve body (12) and a stent (16). A first portion (40) of the stent (16) is embedded in the elastic valve body (12) and a second portion (42) of the stent (16) is outside the valve body (12). A method of manufacturing such a valve (10) is also claimed.
