Abstract From the Canadian patent

An Si-base thermoelectric conversion material and a thermoelectric conversion element, wherein without lowering the Seebeck coefficient and electric conductivity of the Si-base thermoelectric conversion material the heat , conductivity of the material can be greatly lowered to realize a great improvement in performance index. A crystalline structure which is a , polycrystalline structure having crystal grains of Si-rich phase and also having an added element-rich phase containing one or more added elements precipitated in the grain boundaries is formed whereby the Seebeck , coefficient becomes very high and the heat conductivity becomes low making it , possible to greatly increase the …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed March 10, 2000. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 10, 2020.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 10, 2022.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
