A computer-assisted method of processing a claim. The method includes processing the, claim through a plurality of automated processing stages in a claim processing system until one, of either a claim stage processing failure or a successful claim processing completion. The, method also includes exiting the claim processing system when the claim processing completes, successfully, manually resolving a problem with the claim when a claim processing failure, occurs, and re-entering the claim processing system at a subsequent stage after manually, resolving a problem with the claim.
