The invention relates to an axial-flow pump which can be introduced via the vascular system of a patient and comprises a flexible compressible tube (1) , which forms the pump housing. Inside said tube (1) a radially compressible rotor (7) is located. The drive shaft (6) of the rotor (7) extends through a catheter (4). Together with the tube (1) and the rotor (7) the catheter (4) can be drawn into a tube sleeve (5).
