Abstract From the Canadian patent

A power Generator for use in textile & machinery industries. A tunable pulse-width-modulated signal is connected to the gatings of IGBT to provide a power, digital waveform at high frequency suitable for heavy duty corona surface treatment. Through the use of a high-Q snubbing circuit consisting of resistors capacitors and, diodes, a voltage of about 400 VDC is sent to a high ratio high frequency power, transformer to deliver 10 kilovolts high voltage power output for corona treatment. The, special feature of this generator is the digital automatic frequency follow-up and, adjustment based on line speed variations thus achieving the improved quality , production.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed June 27, 2000. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended June 27, 2020.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 27, 2022.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
