Disclosed and claimed is an adjuvant for immunogenic immunological, antigenic , or vaccine compositions. The adjuvant is composed of insect cells or fractions thereof. Disclosed and claimed are also methods for preparing and using the adjuvant and compositions containing the adjuvant.
