A fuel system includes a filler neck coupled to a fuel tank a fuel vapor, discharge apparatus arranged to conduct fizel vapor from the fuel tank to a fuel vapor, treatment cannister, and a fuel vapor recirculation apparatus configured to conduct, limited amounts of pressurized fuel vapor from the fuel vapor discharge apparatus under, certain conditions during refueling of the fizel tank to a fill cup at the inlet of the filler, neck to minimize introduction of outside air into the fuel tank through the filler neck, during refueling.
