A low-density polyethylene resin for laminating which is produced by highpressure radical polymerization and has a density of 0.910 to 0.935 g/cm3 a , melt flow rate of 0.1 to 300 g/10 min and at least 0.4 terminal vinyl group per 1000 carbon atoms. Since a laminate having a high interlaminar bonding strength can be produced from the resin even through low-temperatue high-speed molding, smoking and odor emission can be inhibited. The resin is excellent also in producibility and profitability. The laminate is excellent in producibility and profitability because it can be easily reduce in thickness. This laminate is suitable for use in, e.g. food packaging materials containers, etc.

Why it's free to use
- Filed September 29, 1998. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended September 29, 2018.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by September 29, 2020.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
