Stereospecific polypropylene macromers having a high percentage of vinyl terminal bonds and a method for preparing them are provided. The stereospecific polypropylene macromers have number average molecular weights (Mn) of about 2,000 Daltons to about 50,000 Daltons and the total number of , vinyl groups per 1000 carbon atoms is greater than or equal to 7000 Mn. The method for preparing the macromers involves: a) contacting in solution, at a , temperature from about 90 ~C to about 120 ~C two or more propylene monomers , with a catalyst composition comprising a chiral stereorigid transition metal , catalyst compound; and b) recovering stereospecific polypropylene chains having number …

Why it's free to use
- Filed November 12, 1998. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 12, 2018.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 12, 2020.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
