A unique system for implementing gas burners particularly for gas range tops , used in cooking. The design permits a number of improvements which are not feasible with, conventional burners. Improved aeration over a wider range of firing rates is achieved with a, novel orifice design. The primary orifice from which the gas exits into ambient air may contain, a coaxially-located tapered pin. By adjusting the relative positions of the pin and orifice along, their mutual axis the effective cross-sectional area of the orifice changes with a proportional, change in gas flow. The relatively constant exit velocity of the gas throughout the operating, range assures proper aeration at all flow …

Why it's free to use
- Filed February 11, 2000. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended February 11, 2020.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by February 11, 2022.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
