A dryer for forage crops is mounted on a wheeled vehicle and includes a drum, a feed conveyor and pick-up for carrying forage crop into an opening at the, bottom front the drum for movement around the drum and a discharge opening for discharging the forage crop from the drum after movement within the drum. A fan, generates an air flow through the forage crop while in the drum and a radiator at the, back of the drum heats the air flow.
