Abstract From the Canadian patent

Transition metal complexes suitable for use for the polymerisation of olefins comprise unsaturated groups having Lewis Base functionality. Preferred groups are dienes having dialkylamino functionality. The complexes may suitably be supported by the use of the functionalised dienes to give transition metal complexes which in the presence of activators are particularly suitable for gas phase processes.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed June 24, 1998. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended June 24, 2018.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 24, 2020.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
