A paint injector (10) for digital printing in which paint is deposited in metered amounts on a print medium (69) comprises a wheel (13) rotatable by a shaft (15) of a motor (48), an idler (34) disposed in a paint reservoir (24) and an endless cable (36) disposed around the wheel (13) and the idler (34). Why it's free to use
- Filed June 10, 1998 and granted September 30, 2003. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended June 10, 2018.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 10, 2020.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
