A method for producing a polymer electrolyte membrane is disclosed. A liquid medium is introduced into a cylinder having an inner surface having a cylindrical configuration. The liquid medium has at least one percent by weight of a polymer electrolyte and a solvent having a boiling point or an azeotropic point ranging from 60 to 220 ~C. Subsequently the cylinder is , rotated for evaporating the solvent by means of a centrifugal force created by such rotation so as to form a polymer electrolyte membrane having a cylindrical configuration with a substantially uniform thickness on the inner surface of the cylinder. Onto the inner surface of the polymer electrolyte membrane, a catalytic …

Why it's free to use
- Filed May 22, 1998. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 22, 2018.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 22, 2020.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
