A novel spray gun for applying fiber-reinforced resins with ceramic fiber loadings of at least 55 wt-%. The spray gun (10) has an inlet (24) for admitting fiber-reinforced resin; an air inlet (30) for atomizing the resin; a catalyst inlet (26); and an outlet (32) for expelling catalyzed fiberreinforced resin. The gun (10) also has a straight-line channel communicating with the resin inlet (24), the catalyst inlet (26) and the outlet. An , actuator selectively controls admission of the resin and the catalyst into the gun.
