A bicycle saddle comprising a shell provided with a support portion which extends frowardly with a nose portion. The support portion has a flat horizontal top, which is substantially trapezoidal in plan. The nose portion has also a flat horizontal top which is elongated. The support and nose portions are situated in parallel planes. The nose portion is with respect to the support portion, located in a lower plane and narrower. The distance between the parallel planes is so chosen that a contact between a rider's genitials and pernieum area and the nose portion is basicially prevented. The support and nose portions are intergrally formed.

Why it's free to use
- Filed November 10, 1999 and granted April 24, 2001. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended November 10, 2019.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 10, 2021.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
