The invention relates, to a device (1) for separating solid andlor semi-solid, substances (3) located in a liquid (2), in which the, device includes a container (10), a first sloping screw, conveyor (20) and a second sloping screw conveyor, (30). The first conveyor has a first portion (22), which forms a channel in the bottom of the container. Bodies of a density exceeding that of the liquid, are accumulated in the channel by sedimentation. The first conveyor displaces the accumulated bodies, up out of the liquid.
