There is described an apparatus for forming sheds for a jacquard machine by means of hooks (7), which are movably guided in a frame between a high position, and a low position, and a lifting means (9) for the hooks (7) which can each selectively, be coupled with associated driver stops (11) of the lifting means (9) via a control element (14) that is mounted in the frame and is adjustable transverse to, the path of movement of the hooks (7) by means of a control means.
