In the preparation of thermoplastic elastomers by hydrosilylation crosslinking of the elastomeric component, the use of an elastomer containing a nonconjugated diene and having a Mooney viscosity within the MST range of 45 to 100 provides products with a high level of cross-linking and an improved combination of physical properties. This improvement is obtained even at low concentrations of hydrosilylation catalyst.

Why it's free to use
- Filed February 25, 1998. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended February 25, 2018.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by February 25, 2020.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
