In a device for feeding a controlled volume flow of liquid to a spray nozzle for automatic spray application a member (4) of displacement pump type is arranged in a conduit between a liquid source and the spray nozzle. The very feeding of the liquid in the conduit is caused by a pump means located upstream of the member of displacement pump type. The pressure of the liquid is measured by means (8, 9) upstream and downstream of the member of displacement pump type, and the throttling degree of a valve means (6) is regulated for obtaining a correspondence between the pressure values measured corresponding to a volume flow predetermined by the speed of the movable parts of the member …

Why it's free to use
- Filed November 26, 1997. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 26, 2017.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 26, 2019.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
