The present invention eliminates the above difficulties and disadvantages by providing end-to-end coupled cable clips for retaining a cable against a surface, such as a, wall. The present clips have a generally arched shaped opening that encompasses the, cable. Disposed on either side of the opening are frustum shaped members which have, an aperture for receiving a pre-inserted nail or screw therethrough. In another, embodiment, only one frustum shaped member is provided on each clip through which a, nail or screw is pre-inserted.
