The invention pertains to a compressed air landing strut with a pneumatic shock absorber which is set onto a spring support. The spring support has an offset and the end region of the roll-off piston is flared radially, outward, so that it surrounds the offset. An O-ring is radially compressed between the outer wall of the spring support and the inner wall of the rolloff, piston and seals the spring space of the pneumatic shock absorber air-tight against the environment. The invention further pertains to a method for the manufacture of said pneumatic shock absorber.

Why it's free to use
- Filed July 28, 1999. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 28, 2019.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 28, 2021.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
